What bastards, pouring water with charcoal in a fountain! If that's "destroy"... Ducros pulls out all the stops to make us take bladders for lanterns and Izy takes over, hand on the seam, at attention! : roll: :(

A long thread comes back to a BRGM report on the water reservoirs in southern Vendée, which have been in place for twenty years...

and the service man confuses destroying and dirtying, for the fountain in question. As for the rest, killing or injuring demonstrators is destroying! It's something other than bits of wood or plastic.

Pure propaganda.

Losses in quantity and quality
For some scientists, the construction of water reservoirs is not viable in the long term, because when water is stored artificially, the soil is dried out and ecological continuity is broken. Water reservoirs lose between 20 and 60% of their water by evaporation. At the same time, this loss in quantity is accompanied by a loss in quality, because the stagnant water undergoes a phenomenon of eutrophication, with the appearance of bacteria and micro-algae.

Why?
The newspaper Le Monde gratifies us with an expert forum that certifies it: reservoirs evaporate so much that they do not retain water. Strangely, we have been making reservoirs for 200 human generations, even in hot regions, without realizing it.

It's always weird to read Guygadebois railing against the "basins", he who lives if I remember correctly right next to the Gigabassine du lac de Sainte-Croix (4th water reserve in France) without which his whole region would be reduced to practically nothing in terms of agriculture for lack of irrigation.
