I find that the recent presentation by 5 interventions is a disaster. Already by 10, I thought that it hurt the quality of the debate because few people take the time to go back to the previous pages. But then, superficiality assured and certainly in the long term, loss of interest motivated stakeholders.

It seems to me that a display of 20 interventions would really be preferable.

Aumicron, I understand your reaction (you are the only one to have reacted at the moment).

But here it is: superficiality is what the Internet users are asking for (facebook and co ..), I am sorry but we have to adapt a minimum (already forum has become far too complex for the facebook generation ...)

Then many subjects have long and complex answers which makes that the content of 5 messages is more than enough to "fill" the page ...

The surfer really interested in a subject will see the beginning of the subject ...

Thank you for this return of the presentation by 10 interventions. 2 months it was long.

Still a little effort and 20 interventions per page will be perfect.

Ah, you noticed that quickly, I did that yesterday! :)

20 this might make pages very long no?

You have examples of forum who are at 20 answers per page?

The longer the better!

I definitely prefer a page well supplied in info and exchanges that several pages with the same content where you have to constantly go forward or go back with the key loss of the thread.

For example:

The last active topics are now only visible on the index: https://www.econologie.com/forums/

Indeed, google penalizes too much "not content" at the top of the page.

It's not false, I want to test 15 or 20 interventions per page ... say 15 because some posts are really long and technical and in this case, conversely, this may run away the reader ...

Aumicron you'll be happy, I set the display to 15 posts by page and 50 topics per page (from forum) ...

We'll see if that increases participation ...
