So, the consumption at the socket is the most interesting:
kWh recharged 1kWh, to do 030 km, approximately 5665 kWh per 18.2 km, and at the wheel, 100, given by the ODB.
Knowing that the average recharge time was 15-16 minutes, and that they did not play the optimization thoroughly, they arrived at the terminals on average with 26% remaining in the battery, but sometimes it is complicated to have the terminal that fits well, securely, in the right place.
What is the current record for traveling 5665 km in an EV?

Re: What is the current record for traveling 5665 km in an EV?
5665 km x 18,2 kWh/100km = 1031 kWh
This requires a recharge time, say at 50 kW of 1031 kWh /50 kW = 20,62h
And a road time, the speed seems quite steady, say 100 km/h: 5665 km / 100 km/h = 56,65h
I would therefore arrive around 77 hours...
But to be more precise, you need more precise data.

We are much less than this time, with recharges at more than 150 kW...
The previous record was 70-71H; with a Tesla Tm3, in September 2021.
The record was well below, significant.

and how average do they run?
This way we will be able to calculate

Re: What is the current record for traveling 5665 km in an EV?
It's just to offend people's beliefs that in an EV, apart from 50 km round trips, we can't do anything.
As I said, they always drove at maximum speeds, often 130 km/h in France, 110, 120, in other countries, and 150 in Germany where it is authorized.
They did not try to save battery power on the road, at the maximum allowed each time.
There were still 23 charges, all successful, once with 2 minutes of road time, and all the unforeseen traffic jams that can occur on the road.
They chose their car well, an Ioniq 6.
So an average charge every 250 km, on average.

We're not going to spend several months there...

If we correct the calculations with recharges at 100 kW and 120 km/h road average,
we finish at 10.33am+46.37= 56,7hrs
within 57 hours

I still believe that this topic is completely useless.
Even with the right answer, it won't speak to anyone anyway, who here has already traveled 5600km?
So the most appropriate response is “we don’t care”

Re: What is the current record for traveling 5665 km in an EV?
there's a bit of that too
Personally, I continue with my E85/photovoltaic electricity hybrid.
That way there's no need to follow the highway, draw 100 kW per car, and pay tolls.

This is just to say that with an EV, you can travel a very long distance, without being afraid of recharging.
There is no more harm in driving an EV than a VT.
And the rest, I don't care too.
