Bonjour,
houloulou .... it goes in all directions there .... difficult to navigate ....
good to recap a bit ...:
- a good reverse osmosis unit must have a "yield" of 1 to 4 or 1 to 3 ... (if a salesman tells you that his device has a yield of 1 to 1, perhaps, but then his device is "choked" and will not perform optimally ..)
- the osmosis rinsing water is not necessarily "lost" or thrown into the sewers !! , whoever wants to lose it, but if you think about it, nothing prevents you from recovering it for other use ....
- A RO water is not a water ofmineralized, nor distilled ... !!
- A reverse osmosis water is not dangerous to health as water consumption ...
- if you want to "remineralize" (for fear) reverse osmosis water, a grain of coarse Himalayan salt or unrefined salt in a carafe of water is enough .....
- the neutral pH is 7.2, the ideal in conso water being from 6.5 to 7.5 ...
.......
> concerning the "case" of fabio:
it would also be good to confirm if the water that was osmosis at your place is city water or not ....
because with a pH of 5.75 at the outlet of the osmosis unit, either the device is screwing up, or the water before the reverse osmosis unit is already at a pH too low, but at this point, it would no longer be compliant ("potable") if city water!
Also, what was the water conductivity output device .. ??
(very important to know .., but not even informed either! ..)
I hope that the reverse osmosis water was softened beforehand .... !!!!
> I don't know any "remineralization cartridge with membrane outlet" on any osmosis ... (???)
> the composition of an aquarium device is "neither complete" nor suitable for domestic use ...
> Citro,
be careful when you are careful about maintaining a filter (whatever it is ..)
if we do not respect the cartridge change in due time ... we actually worse than better ....
what problems "do you know" about the CA .. ??
> be careful indeed, do not confuse water softener and reverse osmosis unit ...: nothing to see ..
do not drink water softened by softening ...
a softener does not modify the "pH" .., but the "° Th" .... (hardness)
> polyphosphate beads are one of the "anti-limestone" processes, effective, but which "prevent the deposit" of limestone, but does not eliminate it ...
(only the softener "eliminates" it ..)
...............................................................................
for those who want to know more about reverse osmosis & Cie ..., you can always search a little my site and my blog, and also see on the side of the reference works indicated in heading "library", written and controlled by specialists in the subject ....
except for those who are reluctant to go out of € 30 wallet and a minimum reading ....

well hello to you !! ...
