Hello everybody
I am the owner of a 5 Kw wind turbine bought from joliet 4 months ago, but my concern is that it still does not work. I have contacted them several times with great difficulty and today he replied that I have to wait 2 months to resolve my problem. Here is my concern, I have a generator of 5 KW with anemometer and wind vane at the top of this one. A cable that goes down to the rectifier charger, during the first start-up, the generator made 1 turns on itself and I had to stop it, at first glance there is no anti-twist system. If someone can help me find a faster solution than that of joliet, would be very nice
Pretty wind turbine and 5 Kw problem
Hi abadin
I think that the wind vane gives information (voltage value of a potentiometer) to an electronic controller
On the nacelle there must also be the same type of sensor
The controller must therefore control the electric orientation motor to "align" the 2 values.
Obviously, if the nacelle turns without finding the right position, it means that one of the components has failed
In my opinion, the ground tests must already be carried out and the correct mechanical actuation of the sensors, the electrical values obtained (with a multimeter)
There may just be a disconnected wire
For the anti twist (rotating collector), I think it is not necessary because from what I have read here and there, the variations in wind orientation do not favor a direction rather than another
A+

Hi Abadin,
I may post a little late, but I have an info that might interest you. I was faced with the same problem as you with a wind turbine that I tried to assemble by myself. I broke the inverters (not easy to adjust these machines) and I could not adjust the wind turbine so that it produced enough energy.
I have long sought a repairer for wind turbines. It's weird: there are so many sellers for so few repairers ... in fact we quickly realize that not many people are specialists.
Anyway, I came across Eolice a bit by accident. Contact with them was direct. The person immediately understood my problem and advised me on the equipment to use. They even came to install everything and especially ADJUST! Since then I no longer have a problem, and Eolice even takes care of the maintenance (once a year).
Go see on www.eolice.be if I had known I would have bought the wind turbine from them from the start ...
Julos.

The guy who just lands and who in his very first message throws the address of a commercial site with comments like "super good, super serious, super everything" it looks a lot like spam.
But hey, the future will tell ... We will see the quality and interest of future contributions (if there are future contributions ...)

If my contribution can help I will not sulk the forum.
I am passionate about small wind turbines, and it is not the first time that I realize that installers are rarely specialists, technically speaking. So for once that I have a good experience with a company (commercial, yes of course, ... not a non-profit!), I don't see why I shouldn't keep it for myself.
On this ... good wind!
