Temperature controller Homemade

by gus_air » 03/02/12, 15:40

Hello everyone, I would like to make a small installation at home to homogenize the ambient temperature.
My house is composed of 1 ground floor with 2 rooms and a floor space to live with air conditioning + fireplace.
Currently, temperature differences are approximately 3 ° C between 2 levels. So I try to standardize both winter and summer temperature and this with a simple system to implement and inexpensive.
I doubt that I am not the first to have this idea but I need your opinion on the feasibility of the thing and advice for implementation.
Scheme of the thing:

By providing the possibility of closing a circuit according to the season.
I'm waiting for your opinion, thank you

Hi, it's a good idea, but you could do that while recovering the calories coming out of your VMC by sticking a heat exchanger (vmc DF) and managing the input-output of the system between the bottom and the top.

I vote for the writing of concrete post and practicality.

I think you do not need 4 inputs / outputs. two are enough.
in winter the floor is warmer than the ground floor so you take the air on the ceiling of the floor and inject it to the floor of the rdc
in summer, the ground floor is cooler than the floor so you use the same circuit upside down: taken to the floor of the ground floor and output to the ceiling of the floor

Hi and thank you for your participation.
As I say in my message, the goal is to make a simple and cheap system.

Hi, good idea indeed. Personally, I happen to rafraichiir with air conditioning because I'm in the south and the thermometer often panics, that's why I had thought of the double flow.

A colleague did something like that, it worked well, except that
The noise of the bottom is communicated at the top.

In your opinion, what materials to use led to stove or vmc sheath?
For the wind tunnel, can a small fan suffice or should a turbine be fitted?

Hi, it will normally go along the stairwell so not too much impact in my opinion.
On the other hand could you inquire with your friend to know how he put it in place, thank you

In my humble opinion, one of the difficulties is to find a silent fan. Can someone advise something?
