Covid and Didier Raoult (supporter of hydroxychloroquine): analyzes on the pandemic

How to stay healthy and prevent risks and consequences on your health and public health. occupational disease, industrial risks (asbestos, air pollution, electromagnetic waves ...), company risk (workplace stress, overuse of drugs ...) and individual (tobacco, alcohol ...).

The difference between “use the word 'science' to value yourself”(See the 3 puppets from here) VS listen to what the real scientists have to say, Eric Rappaz, who is one of the most prominent journalists for his independence in the Swiss audiovisual landscape - Prix Jean Dumur 2016 - unveils in a recent interview, that the hydroxychloroquine (+ AZ) dossier has taken on a political and economic dimension, and which has nothing whatsoever to do with the demonstrated efficacy of the HCQ + AZ treatment worldwide:
Pharmaceuticals torpedoed Didier Raoult and hydroxychloroquine "

ED4AB2AD-E65B-4C3B-9299-284125862148.jpeg
Although he does not consider the molecule promoted by his famous colleague from Marseille as a miracle drug, the Parisian pulmonologist Philippe Even, author of the best-seller "Guide to 4000 useful, useless or dangerous drugs", tells how the big laboratories failed succeed in discrediting it.

Interview with Pr. Philippe Even:

- Professor, the readers of L'illustré remember your fight against the abuse of statin prescriptions in the treatment of cholesterol, a drift that you had explained in our columns and dissected during a conference in Lausanne, in 2017. At 88, how are you coping with this coronavirus crisis?
- Philippe Even: As best I could, following the strict rules of hygiene and confinement. I have interest since, in addition to my age, I suffer from severe respiratory failure. For the moment, I have happily passed between the drops.

- The controversies are linked around hydroxychloroquine and Professor Didier Raoult. The controversy has turned into a masquerade with the warning of the British scientific journal The Lancet (see also box), which has just cast doubt on the conclusions of the study which it nevertheless published three weeks ago and which condemned the molecule ...
- This reversal does not surprise me. You, the journalists, you have got into the habit of adding the word "prestigious" to the name of the medical magazine you cite. It gently makes me laugh. For if these newspapers do disseminate prestigious, reliable and serious studies and articles, they also publish countless articles sponsored by the pharmaceutical industry. I am talking about these famous reference comparative clinical trials, which make what is called in the United States medicine based on evidence, but entirely manufactured on the basis of fake information. This connivance pays big dividends to these weeklies who make incredible profits. In truth, if these newspapers have a prestigious side, they are also the most dangerous for scientific progress, the sick and public finances. However, I salute the courageous approach of the Lancet which, by the way, rehabilitates Didier Raoult.

- You are saying that these magazines knowingly publish articles that deceive public opinion and the entire medical world. It's serious...
- I'm not the one saying it, it's the facts. In the United States, the Department of Health has opened some twenty procedures for this reason against several companies in recent years. Before the courts, the latter were forced to reveal the range of results of their studies which they keep secret. The one containing the real effectiveness and the real side effects of the drugs they sell. After comparison with the results they published, it became clear that the effectiveness had been greatly amplified and the side effects erased. These firms have all been fined between $ 1 billion and $ 25 billion.

- Is this what happened with this famous study published by "The Lancet", concluding that hydroxychloroquine is ineffective, or even that it is toxic?
- Exactly. Tens of thousands of information have been collected online, not verified at all, collected without knowing who the patients are, what state of health they were in, what symptoms they presented, how they were followed, by which doctors, in which hospitals and what their associated illnesses were. We brew all that and we think that the number, 96, will impress. At the other end, there are people who can sincerely believe it. But there is above all on the part of the pharmaceutical industry the desire to completely break a gigantic market which would open up to a molecule which costs practically nothing.

- And nobody can put an end to these acts?
- No Alas. Only large corporations can finance studies costing between $ 200 million and $ 1 billion. Suddenly, they publish what they want to publish, maintaining this perverse system. It's been a constant struggle for twenty years to get the raw results, but the industry is systematically opposed. Ultimately, these trials win the support of doctors who do not have objective data. Relayed by the scientific journals they pay, the companies therefore shamelessly lie to torpedo people like Didier Raoult. Think, we are not going to distribute on a large scale a drug costing barely 50 cents per day per person while the antivirals of the industry bring him between 30 and 40 euros!

- Nevertheless, the effectiveness of hydroxychloroquine remains to be demonstrated ...
- Personally, I don't think it is a miracle product; Didier Raoult never claimed it, moreover. He said there was a noticeable difference in severity of illness in people taking this molecule at the first symptom. Admittedly, its conclusions only concerned 40 patients, but this drug formerly dispensed without prescription and completely non-toxic, except for people suffering from cardiovascular problems, gave encouraging results on mice and cell cultures. The Chinese also used it. In the end, if, thanks to chloroquine, severe cases can be reduced by 5% to 6%, that's still the point. And I remind you that this malaria medicine has been used by 500 million people for forty years.

- Do you know Didier Raoult?
- Of course. I did not work with him, but, as we defend the same positions concerning drugs and the organization of health in France, I often had the opportunity to meet him. He says obvious things that no one wants to hear.

- What for example?
- That 99% of the drugs put on the market since the 1990s have a very limited effectiveness. With the exception of Sovaldi, a formidable molecule which cures hepatitis C, the majority of the molecules presented as new are the same as their predecessors but sold two, three or four times more expensive, and have an effectiveness varying between 1% and 20%.

- Does this also include cancer drugs?
- At the risk of hurting the pride of labs like Roche and Novartis, the undisputed leaders in the field, I would say yes. In the best of cases, new molecules, often overpriced, save between two and six months of survival, but cures are extremely rare.

- By being a little arrogant and full of himself, Raoult provoked a lot of hostility at the start of his interventions ...
- He's like that. And I think he hates the French virology establishment. But despite his shortcomings, Raoult is undoubtedly the best known and most respected French scientist in the world. He has to his credit no less than 145000 citations in specialized journals, more than all the virologists at the Institut Pasteur, while those who demolish it on television or in the newspapers have barely 500. Look for the 'mistake...

- Let's go back to Covid-19. Doctor Anthony Fauci, adviser to President Trump, says that if a vaccine is discovered, its effectiveness may not go beyond a year ...
- I have met Anthony Fauci several times. The first was thirty-five years ago. He is an extremely intelligent and careful type, supported by the very influential Italian-American clan from which he came. He has advised presidents for over twenty years. The secret of his longevity lies in his art of dialectics. He says things without anyone really knowing what he thinks. In this case, he knows that a vaccine will probably be discovered, but he does not know, without admitting it, whether it will immediately trigger an immune response and for how long. It's pure Fauci sugar.

- For the moment, without a vaccine and despite the deconfinement, the decline of the pandemic is spectacular in Europe ...
- Indeed. This was what Didier Raoult predicted more than a month ago. However, two questions remain unanswered. Firstly, what will happen this winter and secondly, what consequences will leave the disease in people who have recovered from it but who have gone through hospital, intensive care and have been intubated. It is estimated that 10% to 15% of them will continue to have respiratory failure. The real problem in this case is the lung. When it is not going well, everything else goes wrong. At this stage, we do not know how the damaged lung will heal.

- What symptom could alert these people believing themselves to be healed?
- With the lungs, it's simple: shortness of breath at the slightest effort, like climbing a few stairs. If you still suffer from it two months after you leave the hospital, the insufficiency will remain for life.

- In Switzerland, the news that stunned people came from the now retired “Mr. Coronavirus”, Dr. Daniel Koch, who declared straight away that the closure of the schools would not have been necessary from the epidemiological point of view but that it had served to make the population understand the gravity of the situation. Strong, right?
- I am not very comfortable criticizing Swiss decisions. What I can say, beyond this statement which leaves indeed pensive, is that if I had been in charge, I would have closed the schools. Although almost all children are insensitive to the virus, many were carriers and it was necessary to break this chain of transmission born of the back and forth between children and teachers, children and parents.

- Children, precisely. A baby died of the virus in Switzerland a few days ago ...
- It is obviously tragic and painful to hear, but it remains very exceptional. Professor Raoult explained why children are overwhelmingly insensitive to the virus. According to him, each year there are hundreds of different coronaviruses in circulation, which often do not cause disease or just a small cold, runny nose or even 38 ° C of fever for a day. Children do them all, if I may say so, and when they meet Covid-19, they are already immune to many molecules of this new virus, unlike us adults.

- How to explain that, except Brazil, it is the most advanced countries which deplore the greatest number of deaths?
- We didn't want to take into account the Chinese experience and all the bullshit was done at the beginning. Do not treat with antibiotics, while this avoids bacterial superinfection of lungs already weakened by the virus, do not give anti-inflammatory drugs, which calm and regulate the inflammatory storm - as the violent reaction that occurs when the immune response starts. We were sure of the result and we got it.

- How to explain such errors of judgment in 2020?
- There is enough to revolt. All our countries have agencies, ministries, health services responsible for preventing diseases and epidemics. All these spheres, which are often colonized by doctors who proclaim themselves specialists in public health when most of them have never practiced in hospitals or in intensive care units, have favored work on obesity, alcoholism or tobacco without really worrying about the arrival of a pandemic like this one. In the end, these people who live on preconceived ideas and illusions advise governments and this leads to the decisions and consequences that we know. With the sum of lies and justifications that surrounded them. Pathetic...

It is quite "old" this position.
I talked about it at the time.

In fact in France there is only one person (or 2) who decides.
The other takes himself for the omniscient and omnipotent Sun King supported by his shareholders.

From there no one counts: no doctor, no professor, nothing at all.
Just the shareholders' business ...

A little confinement always cleans up.
It makes it possible to degrease free small businesses which piss off the big ones
Put slaves back on the job market
It occupies them and it puts pride in the hearts of caregivers without spending anything more than a primette
Salary claims in hospitals as elsewhere are now forgotten for at least 5 years
Not requiring 2 types of confinement it also allows to release old people: always good for retirement pensions.
It prohibits gatherings
...etc.

In short it's all good

But........

Go hop to the puppies the first 4 weeks of barrage fire against Raoult and the new deadly poison that had become hydroxychloroquine.

Raoult lowers the viral load and makes it possible to limit the aggravations: it is not miraculous but when one is intelligent and while waiting to find better one takes instead of rejecting en bloc like the morons they were.

It makes sense. : Idea:

and as often rehashed: it is especially in combination with the AZI that the protocol is held better.

Philippe Froguel published this very telling diagram

All the people who supposedly have NOTHING .. news 0 et cie we will find them there for decades according to their ages.

For the record in Raoult's (3700) study, a small focus on News 0 those who have "NOTHING"
Well I wish no one to have "NOTHING" like a number of them ...

Characteristics of the low dose scanner
We performed 2 LDCT tests, of which 065 (1%) detected anomalies,
were classified as minimal (928, 64%), intermediate (414, 28,6%) and serious impairment (107, 7,4%).
Among 991 patients with a NEWS-2 = 0 score who underwent a CT scan, 592 (59,7%) presented radiological anomalies, including 470 (47,4%) with minimal pulmonary lesions, 115 (11,6%) with intermediate lesions and 7 (1%) with severe lesions (Fig. S1).
In addition, among 1 LDCT analyzes performed on patients without perceived subjective dyspnea, 370 (937%) had pneumonia. Because of this intriguing result, we studied the relationships between perceived dyspnea, oxygen saturation, and LDCT results in patients
available information.
Among 1 patients who considered themselves to be dyspnea, 108 (157%) actually had oxygen saturation ≤14,2%, and 95/130 (157%) had pneumonia.

All those there, apart from Raoult who knows them?
They are in nature.
They are among those who "had nothing" in APPEARANCE.
They may be part of the CDG crew ...
Short as they were either totally ignored by the medicine the standard thing of care "ON" DON'T KNOW ANYTHING AND "ON" DON'T CARE

Besides, the medical academy is starting to cover itself ... by doing Raoult and putting itself now finally to get the little beast from ALL the POSSIBLE sick.
You know the 98% who have so-called "NOTHING": understood to be serious or visible or felt.

Academy press release: What unusual symptoms should a Covid-19 look for?
http://www.academie-medecine.fr/communi ... -covid-19/

The main symptoms of Covid-19 are fever or respiratory signs. However, SARS-CoV-2 infection can affect other organs and be revealed by digestive disorders, pulmonary or peripheral arterial embolism, or other less typical inaugural features.

The reinforced prevention and protection plan defined by the Covid-19 Scientific Council [1] includes an intensification of the protocol for case detection and contact tracing. These new provisions should encourage the prescribing of screening tests if there is any doubt. Thus, certain less frequent clinical presentations should not be overlooked:

- neurological manifestations: if ageusia and anosmia are frequent, other manifestations are exceptional such as ophthalmoplegia or Guillain-Barré syndrome. Confusional syndrome, memory impairment have also been reported, particularly in the elderly, as well as ischemic strokes linked to the thrombogenic activity of SARS-CoV-2. Constrictive, erratic and long-lasting pain is probably of neurological origin.

- skin signs: pseudo-frostbite, sometimes painful, has been described since the beginning of the epidemic. More frequent in children and young adults, their development is usually favorable within a week, but they can recur. Dyshidrosis, vesicles, hives, rash, petechiae and livedo are less common.

- clinical pictures suggestive of Kawasaki disease have been described in children with initial digestive signs, including severe abdominal pain, then cardiogenic shock with a fraction of collapsed ejection, grouped under the name of pediatric multisystem inflammatory syndrome (PIMS). Skin signs are present, with erythema and flaking. The age of affected children, 9 to 17 years of age, is higher than in the usual form of Kawasaki disease.

- endocrine and metabolic disorders are probably linked to the wide organic distribution of the angiotensin 2 converting enzyme (ACE2), receptor for SARS-CoV-2: testis, ovary, hypothalamus, pituitary gland, thyroid and pancreas. Contributing to the state of deep fatigue and correlated to the severity of the disease, one can observe a deficit in testosterone production. The commonly reported hypokalemia is thought to be the result of virus binding to ACE2 and increased synthesis of aldosterone. The lymphopenia observed in certain severe forms of Covid-19 does not exclude situations of hypocortisolism, already documented during SARS. Subacute thyroiditis has been reported. Hypocalcemia can be observed, as well as hyperglycemia favored by the increase in insulin resistance and direct damage to the pancreatic gland with an elevation of the levels of amylase and lipase.

The National Academy of Medicine recommends
- explore the neurological, endocrine or metabolic manifestations occurring in a known or unknown context of Covid-19 infection
- to analyze cognitive disorders, their severity, their evolution and their persistence with the help of specific explorations;
- to evoke a PIMS in the event of intense abdominal pain and / or cardiogenic shock occurring in children or adolescents;
- to prescribe screening tests for SARS-CoV-2 (RT-PCR and serology) if there is any doubt in front of any rough, atypical or unusual clinical picture that might suggest Covid-19.

And voilou
We were sure of the result and we got it.

Right in the target.

You have the standard gardener of care who will leave his soil bare, do not water for 3 weeks in summer when it is 30 in the shade ...
And when they are half toasted it panics and they balance tons of water and fertilizer
Result there will be a cohort of puny, shabby ... or dead vegetables

And then you have the gardener Raoult who will cover his soil, provide shade for his crops, water properly, in short maintain and care for them.
As a result, there will be a cohort of mature vegetables, well developed and generally very good.

And then you have the standard gardener of care who comes to cry over his mother and say to you: oh yes but wait we can't compare our 2 cohorts of vegetables because I haven't watered my vegetables ...

Well, you just had to take care of your vegetables.
Now for your rotten vegetables it's up to you to manage with your conscience (even the justice that knows one day)
You're trying to think about how you got there and where you got it wrong ...
And especially not to start again.
