Request help breakdown Charger Metabo LC40

by filoudepuz » 24/06/16, 19:46

Hello,

Living on an island and very far from any service center, I would like help to troubleshoot a Metabo LC 40 screwdriver charger. (10,8 Volts)
It flashes in red temperature fault as soon as a battery is placed.
I find that it also makes a little noise that it did not seem to be before.
I bought 2 new batteries and the problem is the same!
I opened the charger which seems nickel except on 2 welds of resistance a little average visually.
I have a multimeter but I don't know how to start and what to test. Do you have info on a particular component?
Thank you for your help : Lol:
