Imagination in power, make it simple and light.
Likewise, the air intake ducts will have no fuel reserves.
or “blowby” gas * when the vehicle is on the starting line before
start-up. The recycling of blowby gases during the race is prohibited.
Article 67: Supplementary energy
For all energy classes, accumulated electrical or pneumatic energy, not
replaced during the competition by the engine or by the fuel cell, cannot
only be used for automatic start-up, for the ignition system,
the injector and the circuits of measuring and control instruments. Energy for
mechanical injection systems must be supplied by the engine. For any other
use, authorization must be requested in writing from the Organization.
Supplementary energies (chemical, latent state change, etc.) are prohibited.
If the engine temperature is regulated, this can only be done using water
pure as heat transfer fluid and this water circuit must not be under pressure. The
external motor control temperature must be limited to 100 consecutively
° C (for motors fitted with these devices).
It is prohibited to use an electric pump powered continuously by a battery to
the circulation of oil and water in the engine. The use of such a pump is
however tolerated if it operates exclusively during the start-up phase,
engine disengaged. If it is to be used during normal engine operation, its
operation must be powered by the motor (mechanical transmission).
Article 60: Exhaust
Exhaust gases must be removed from the vehicle.
The exhaust pipes must in no case exceed the rear point of the
body. Technical inspectors will require a modification, see disassembly,
if the equipment is deemed dangerous for the safety of other competitors. Their
decision will be sovereign.
