Covid vaccines: how effective? Variants, duration of immunity, efficacy on contamination and on severe cases?

How to stay healthy and prevent risks and consequences on your health and public health. occupational disease, industrial risks (asbestos, air pollution, electromagnetic waves ...), company risk (workplace stress, overuse of drugs ...) and individual (tobacco, alcohol ...).

bah already numbers presented like that are roughly rounded, so with a precision at best of 10%. However, there are around 10% of deaths in nursing homes, so take it into account or not, I don't really see what that can change. But hey if it amuses you to redo all the calculations, with and without ... do it and you will tell us the result!

Let's already calculate on the file provided by the DRESS without taking any account of the EHPAD

The methodology is explained on the DREES website, and clearly inclusion in the study population is linked to a "hospital event" (admission to hospital, admission to critical care, death).
So the answer is in my opinion no, deaths IN EHPADs are not taken into account.
On the other hand, an EHPAD resident transferred to the hospital is taken into account.

Ok that's an interesting clarification, we'll talk about it later

But the figures in the DRESS file?

ehpad and hospital deaths counted separately. Since September 15 there have been around 70 Ehpad deaths and 850 hospital deaths, but what do you want to deduce from this?

There is not all the data in this file.
There are deaths in nursing homes, it's already better than nothing: I couldn't find them anywhere since May.
Note that the covid cases confirmed in EHPAd are no longer up to date since 18/02: I wonder how they can then give the covid deaths in EHPAD if they do not know the positive cases? :frown:

This file does not include the vaccinated: we should therefore trust the DREES on the figure completely hallucinatory of:
sicetaitsimple wrote:New DREES weekly study:
Unvaccinated people represent 78% critical care admissions and 74% of conventional hospital admissions, while they are only 27% among the entire resident population.
In addition, there are 11 deaths per 1 million unvaccinated people against 2 for those who are fully vaccinated. So there are approximately 6 times more deaths among unvaccinated peoples than in those fully vaccinated with a comparable population size during the period considered. [/ i]

I have already demonstrated the total bogus of these figures so POUBELLE.
DREES = propaganda as long as they do not provide detailed and matched data (admissions vax and novax in% would be a minimum)

If you are wondering why Santé Publique France stopped recording confirmed cases in EHPAD on February 19, here is the beginning of the answer:
188 cases on 270/19, 02 cases on 145/914. There are 31 cases in less than 12 months during a period of mass vaccination. This represents 42% of all cases in 356, which is almost twice as many cases per day. It is sure that it is a stain for the promotion of the vaccine, the cases that explode when we vaccinate ...

You confuse "being self-convinced that" with "having demonstrated that".
You haven't demonstrated anything at all, you're just patrolling numbers in your little corner with your sauce (your beliefs).
