There is a huge lime tree in my garden, the beginning of June the smell is intoxicating and when the flowers are really ripe it is covered with unidentified orange bees and critters. The buzz is so intense that you can hear it at 8 or 10 m!

This year there is no such thing as drought or an untimely insecticide attack in the area, but there were definitely fewer critters on this tree ... we could pick the lime tree without looking at whether there were bees .
