Hi,
I can't open this link found in Johson's subject:

Do you have a solution ?
Thank you

Magnetic Door by John Bédini
I don't think the ineffectiveness changes from around 10 to 12mm,
6.4 it's good i don't think this is the source of the problem.

Well I don't really know why you can't open it, it opens for me, a little long because of the loading of the images

For me too the link works
Go up one box higher to see. http://www.rexresearch.com/johnson/
Then click on the first .htm in the list.

hi naca
like a super achievement
But you seem to be really well equipped.
Milling lathe ect ...
in any case bravo
Did you try to tilt the magnets on your doors.
In the config where you are, you would have to turn a cone with very little slope, instead of a bore.
I think it must be able to improve the performance of your door
No
In any case standing ovation for naca

Hi young people .....
Thank you for the compliments, I actually have a friend who is kind enough to lend me his turn (and his workshop at the same time, it helps ...)
I will actually try a mild steel cone at the head of the plunger and then I will try to position the magnets with an entry angle (even if it has nothing to do, perendev tilts these magnets at 30 °)
To be continued ........

I finally got into magnetic fields as we would say Capt_Maloche.
Happy New Year everyone, health and success in your projects.
Hello Quartz, Thank you for your good wishes
I discover your post
and welcome to the very closed little magnetic world club

ARF, pretty achievements, impressive also the sketches of Toto65
To Naca, by fixing the magnets of the "doors" with metal screws, you considerably reduce the range of the satellite magnets by creating a magnetic core (like the core of a loudspeaker)
On the background of this project, I allow myself a small friendly apartment
I have not seen in the videos posted by my friend Quartz (if you allow me) proof of the existence of a unit door.
The door magnets are bare,
The magnetic fields of the "Doors" are not confined nor directed,
So you end up in the "little train" configuration (remember?) With strong magnetic fields at short range and a global magnetic field from the association of magnetic circuits at long range.
As in electricity, it is necessary to resonate in equivalent circuits.
Before carrying out the complex assemblies that you have started, I modestly suggest that you make a simple and slender assembly capable of attracting the nucleus and rejecting it without starting thrust, ie. to put a door in "suction" at the beginning of the assembly.
there and only there, the demonstration of the existence of a door will be made.
Damn, a magnet is still "magic", right?
