a 15kw is around 4000 €, a 22kw 4700 €.
If your house is insulated (and an electric one should be) 15kw should be enough.

floor and wall this will not be easy.
isolated electrical house of the time, but I will remedy that.

from what I read on the ducted stoves can heat another room with forced air.

In my opinion must have felt a drying of the air as well as drafts a bit like on electric heating.

all heating dries the air, since the air saturation rate drops when it heats. Jogging doesn't change anything in itself.

stainless steel destruction of the chimney on 2,50 + tubing + insulating tubing to replace the destroyed conduit 2800 euros

in a bushel destruction of the conduit over 5 m and deviating from the masonry conduit 2500 euros.

I was offered to redo the stainless steel pipe a few tens of cm for layout reasons.

but I wonder if a stainless steel pipe is as secure as a stainless steel tubed pipe in a bushel chimney.

Yes, an insulated stainless steel pipe built in accordance with the rules is completely secure, few masonry pipes achieve the same performance.

- low thermal inertia
- low roughness
-high insulation
- acid resistance
-excellent sealing
-resistance to chimney fire
- almost unlimited lifespan

Ditto for the casing, except of course li the masonry conduit which serves as its support collapses;)

all you site is the advantages for the stainless steel chimney.
how does low thermal inertia work on a pipe?

When a fire starts, there is always condensation in the chimney because it is cold. a stainless steel pipe will be hot faster, so condensation will stop faster.

And I add an advantage: non-porous materials, does not drink condensation

there are disadvantages too, the price, the dressing not as simple.

yes but with a good covering and grates this can allow heat recovery.

unless the best compromise is the cased chimney.

I finally found someone serious to bring my chimney back to standard : Mrgreen:
