On the question of the patent: it seems to me - but since you have studied this Bobfuck you will be able to confirm or deny - that this is not at all a guarantee of efficiency; it is a property for exploiting a process, an assembly, a formula ...

I can tomorrow patent a chuaffage liquid made from white wine from Alsace and a little beer, a lmoiuche from Picon and a little pretzel juice ... More the name at the INPI ..

No one else can offer this juice under the same name ...

But will that guarantee that it will work better than water ??? No !

It seems to me that there are thousands of crazy patents ...

But I could be wrong...

No, you are absolutely right; there was also a time when the patented objects carried the legal mention "SGDG": without guarantee of the government (which had granted the patent).
Very few patents are sold, because they are useless or of no commercial interest.
And, some who enter into a commercial strategy, have no other function than to deceive potential buyers.

Yes, but that doesn't say if we will one day know the results of these tests:

Indeed, tomorrow I deliver samples to a manufacturer of underfloor heating who will study the product in his laboratory.

I will communicate the results whatever they are.

So what do these results say ??

What suspense ...

Unfortunate! Don't you think about it seriously?
The very idea of a good Riesling in radiators makes me shudder ...

a patent does not guarantee anything

a new idea to reduce energy loss from something known to have loss it would be nice

but the water in the radiators is practically perfect from the point of view of heat transport efficiency ... I really don't see which product could do better than water

the main quality of water in a heating circuit is its heat capacity, far superior to all other liquids

Is that so. I thought you were afraid of ending up in the middle of the night siphoning the radiator ...

- What are you doing darling ?
- Oh nothing, go back to sleep, there were gurgles in the radiator, I'm purging ...

No, what I meant was that you can patent anything. Chatelot confirms.

And therefore "patented" is the potential argument par excellence of those who have no other. A gogo trap!

Have you seen BMW somewhere mark their BMW as "patented" ???? Or Apple [on the other hand, initiate a lawsuit with a competitor, yes!]

For me, it's like the famous "Seen on TV" !!!
