OK, I didn't get it right,
I just redid the test correctly and the engine launches well and when I open the inter it goes into second speed, so I have to dismantle the engine to clean the contact is it right?

Ok
thank you all for your answers I do not know the operation of mono motors with condos I know that three-phase. Now it is clearer.
I will disassemble the engine and clean the contact and I will keep you up to date.

Hello Groundhog and Boubka!

The worst starting system there is on your engine, this system is very finicky on the load, now that I saw your relay, it is very possible that your condo is in problem because if it is not exactly a the right capacitance you will have start-up problems.

As said boubka look if the problem is not mechanical cleaning the relay if not replace the capacitor, of course hoping that the motor winding is not overheated.

well I just dismantled the engine and the little surprise was waiting for me:

I still looked at the contact but it is not glued it looks good.

then either I change the motor or I keep it with a switch but if I leave the switch is there a risk?

Sorry for you Marmotte!

I think it would be wiser to replace the motor than to try to patch it up!

What is the engine power in watts or hp?

What type of motor and shaft outlet?

Is it screwed on the base or on the end of the engine?
: Cry:

then the power is 750w the nominal current is 7.1A, the brand of the motor, it is in Japanese lol and at the output it is a simple 24mm diameter shaft with a key.

Marmotte

OK it's a 1 cv, probably in Chinese and not in Japanese!

You don't have the rotation speed?

How does it couple, by pulley?

Does it attach to the base or the end of the engine?

Here is an idea of a replacement motor at a reasonable cost:

3000 rpm:

1500tr / m:

lol yes chinese
it's a 1500 rpm
the motor is fixed on the frame and the pulley is mounted on the shaft and a belt makes the link with the shaft of the lathe.

I just looked on the links yes it is reasonable but before I will go to see my home there are winders I will see if there are no occaz or I would buy nine surely, thank you for the link : Cheesy:

Welcome Groundhog!

So it will not be too difficult to replace it with a better one!

I doubt that the rewinding is cheaper, since the condo alone may cost 50 euros if it is HS, but sometimes they have used engine for trifles, you will only have to change the pulley for the 'adapt on the new motor since 24mm c, is not very common but rather 25mm, it can also be 1 inch, only a measurement with the vernier will tell you.
