Yesterday, I almost (but I'm a little in "stand by" mode at the moment), picking up the last tomatoes, some red, others orange ...

We ate some on Sunday and I was stunned that they tasted so much. I expected "supermarket tomatoes": beautiful, but tasteless ...

And then, this morning, - 4,5 ° C on my outside sensor at ground level. But 0 ° C at the station, 2 m above the ground. This shows to what extent in "radiative" weather (good weather with clear sky = high pressure installed) the difference can be big between the data of a weather station (at 1,5 m normally) and what our vegetables are subjected to ...

I still enjoy a warm soil, two meters above the ground I already had 0 or -1, I had puddles on a slightly frosted bin lid, but I still have leaves of beans or potatoes in good condition.

At home, the green beans, butternuts or basil had already taken the last time, I do not remember when ... - 1,5 ° C at ground level and + 2 ° C at the station. The tomatoes had resisted in the tunnel and in the greenhouse (the green and productive parts are 1 m from the ground!).

Earthworms finally show up after an almost unexplained absence. I take this opportunity to collect their castings which are very useful, dissolved in water, as fertilizer for orchids and to boost a lot of indoor plants.

Plant curiosity, not so rare all the same. Here a radish which is recovering a layer, whereas all was well but certainly too well for him.
