Bravo...

Little reminder, this is a place that is not near your home, right?

Indeed, 2h10 drive is a weekend and short vacation destination. We share the land with my brother-in-law, but he is more interested in the hammock than the vegetables : Mrgreen:

That's what I think, but the hole (unmeasured) still seems quite large compared to the idea I had of a vole, even for a mole it seems big to me.

Apparently there are several species of voles, some being the size of rats. The photo shows a hole that strongly resembles the holes I have in my house. I believe there are many voles in my vegetable meadow. But I never really checked because I have not set any trap for the moment ... on the other hand I see the "damage" and the molehills.

According to this site the holes can be 8cm by 6cm (?).

Finally a weekend in the field. First real grip since signing at the notary last December.

Delivery of two bales of hay. Unrolling and sowing of potatoes and tomato, cucumber, zucchini and Brussels sprouts

There is a lot of free space under the hay (about 40 m2 unrolled). But there I am exhausted. The hay was the last operation of this weekend dedicated to work in the shed (and it's great, we have made good progress)

apparently you did not mow under the hay, you might have, it would have more guaranteed the death of the grass below
but it will do it anyway it was quite high, maybe it will pierce a little, but it will be enough to put hay here and there

the whole thing is to start, and yes the shed above all, in any case it is already not bad as an open space, you will be able to have fun

The main thing is that you are finally starting out and that you are happy to use your land. :!:
