So, you have time to think about the ins and outs...

I was thinking about something stupid: Is feeding a carnivore more expensive than a granivore?

Sold for €8/kg, you need 4 for 1 kg. remains to know the cost of food?
During this time you can produce 8 broiler chickens of 2 kg, at 3€/kg with twice their weight in cereals and minerals. Around €2/kg of food. https://view.officeapps.live.com/op/vie ... BROWSELINK

Afterwards the question does not arise if you have a pond and not a breeding building : Mrgreen:

Without wanting to get angry, I think that if our friend wanted to raise chickens, he would not have started an “aquaponics today” thread.
But basically, from a strict "profitability" point of view, you are perhaps and even undoubtedly right.
But that doesn't seem to me to be the primary motivation.
