The last times I made a clutch kit, I got around 150€ of parts, the timing belt kit, about the same, maybe 200€ now, but not much more...

I just took a look, and it's pretty much down to 100€.... The pair of shock absorbers start at 90€ and at 150, you're good....the pads, in the 20€,

Generally, when I stopped a VT, it was that it was at the end of its life....
Well if you have a set of tires (Continental) mounted / balanced, + some things that don't work like an out of order electric window motor, the distribution kit must be able to change it yourself... so rather x2... some scratches and bumps that there won't be any more... a chip in the windshield... quickly arrived (vandalism) even the very rusty exhaust pipe, still in good condition... but... the headlight optics to be polished... in short between 6 to 8 years, a VT has accumulated a lot of little things right?

I don't do the total but around 1 to 000 € it's not impossible, there I have just changed, I go from an average consumption of 1 to 300l in E16 (Ford Mondeo) to 18 to 85l ( Toyota limousine, mixed city/road journeys) the difference in consumption pays me for the vehicle just with the fuel economy...

And the guy too proud to tell us how he "cheated" his ODB to tell us now that he was consuming 16 to 18l/100 of E85. Too strong!

It was not my vehicle but that of a family member, so I had no possibility of intervening on it...
But in the last six months (at the end of his career) he was given to me.

The Ford Mondeo is given up to 15l in the urban cycle, so it is not an "economical" vehicle at the base...

And it is a known fact that whatever you do, you consume a good 20% more with E85 (according to VHC)
So I was nag on the mushroom... So going from 13,6l mixed to >16l is nothing exceptional...

It didn't last long... Because a guy bumped into me, he was at fault, so I took the opportunity to change... Is it bad?

As I already explained, I could be wrong but for the rule of thumb, just add SP95 (approx. 5l per tank)”to stay within the manufacturer settings ranges” of the ECU, so that the engine light no longer lights up. Besides, vehicles do not all react the same with E85, I never doubted the fact that kits were better than an empirical method...

Before the Mondeo, I had another VT with Toyota 1,6l engine, no engine light on either, with 100% E85 (but had to go gradually) with VTT-i no problem...

I can...?

Are you confusing L and Years?

E85, I can believe, but on journeys of 2-3 km, as soon as you arrive at 10 km, the consumption must fall back to less than 10....

With a V6, 24S, automatic gearbox, making the "con" at the time, in LPG, never exceeded 16L/100.

With a V6 space, LPG, and roof box, at the time, at 160, 20L/100, if not rather at 13.....

With the 620SI rover, at E85, at 60-65%, 10L, however heavy vehicle .... and 130 hp for a model from the 90s....

Did you stick the accelerator to the floor?

It was also an auto box... V6, lean a little and it sucks the ricans...
Let's say that if you wanted to stay at 15l you just had to caress the mushroom on flat : Mrgreen:

for the E85 subject, there are vehicles that natively support full E85, and others that do not.

It's a matter of enrichment stop and ECU setting.

But in general, the natural enrichment range makes it possible to run on 50% E85 and 50% gasoline by volume without any problem.

It was a 6 V3, 24L, 2000S rudder.... Never done so much in consumption.

doomed not to digress too much here, but Toyota Priuses were known to metabolize E85 well without any modification. :P

I am very familiar with the 1.4 TSI VW of the 2010s, and this one does not natively support E85, it can however go up to 1/3 + 2/3 mixtures of petrol and E85 respectively.

With a reprog he swallows the E85 without worry.

With a kikit it also swallows but can have some misfires (especially cylinder deactivation ACT versions)
