ROTEX Sanicube, a hygienic and innovative domestic hot water storage tank

Summary and principle.

The Sanicube ROTEX allows a physical separation between drinking water and storage water (thermal buffer) via an "instantaneous heat" exchanger.

The Sanicube ROTEX is the combination of a hot water storage tank and an instantaneous water heater.

The heat itself is not stored in drinking water (as in a conventional DHW tank) but in the accumulation water which is physically separated from it by a heat exchanger.

The volume of drinking water is relatively low: 19 to 80 liters depending on the type of tank. The total accumulation volume is 300 to 500 liters. The amount of heat that can be stored and withdrawn depends on this.

When using for the first time, the storage tank is filled only once. This accumulation water is only used for the accumulation of heat, it is neither changed nor used. It is a volume called "dead water".
