Hydraulic power in France for electricity generation by EDF

By 2010, in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, European electricity consumption will have to be supplied for 22% by renewable energies.

Today, in France, EDF produces 10% of electricity from ENR, 8% from hydropower.
