A group of physicists recently proposed an extended version of Maxwell's classical electromagnetics under the name Electrodynamics O (3).
This new version of electrodynamics not only makes it possible to understand certain phenomena of non-linear optics hitherto unexplained, but also suggests the possibility of a real vacuum engineering: the direct extraction of energy from the vacuum and the manipulation of gravity and inertia become technological possibilities within our grasp.
This model, using the quaternion formalism (dear to Maxwell), is also presented as a subset of a unified field theory developed in recent years by Mendel Sachs from the development of the space-time tensor of the general relativity of Einstein.
