Thirty years of research in biophysics can be summarized as follows:
- Electromagnetic fields direct the activity of biological molecules.
- Parasitic electromagnetic fields interfere with health.
- Biocompatible electromagnetic fields maintain health.

I - The dangers of electromagnetic pollution are scientifically proven

Our planet is invaded by parasitic electromagnetic radiation (PEMR) produced by modern technology: high voltage lines, television, digital satellites (more than 3 have revolved around the earth since 500), computer screens, cell phones (more of 1982 billion users), relay antennas, TGV, radars, video game consoles and electronic toys for babies ...
The frequency spectrum of these electromagnetic emissions is very broad since it extends from the microwaves to extremely low frequencies close to zero. This spectrum of frequencies therefore interferes with the electromagnetic emissions specific to all living organisms, flora, fauna and human beings (brain waves of alpha activity, waves of cardiac and muscular cells in particular).
For their information, consumers only have the latest report from the new French Environmental Health Safety Agency (Afsse) produced by a team of experts who work from near or far - like those of the WHO - to telephone operators and even participate in advertising campaigns for them. These “reassuring” official reports are in reality only a compilation of the results of studies published previously and mainly financed by manufacturers and which only consider the thermal risk. However, the thermal risk is not the most dangerous, far from it. The danger lies in microwaves and ultra-low harmonics whose frequencies disturb the biological frequencies of living cells at extremely low intensities.
The real non-thermal biological hazards of REMP induced by modern telecommunication, whose exposure is combined with that of other electrical devices, are simply ignored in official reports; the considerable development of diseases of civilization, the failure of public health policy, the long-term potential risks are not even addressed.
Numerous independent scientific studies report the increased permeabilization of the blood-brain barrier with formation of micro-oedemas and tendency to meningitis (whose frequency has been increasing steadily since 15 years); decrease in neuronal proliferation (school delay, learning difficulty); decreased IgG antibody levels, decreased secretion of cortisol, corticosterone and melatonin (which no longer exerts its anti-cancer action beyond 2milliGauss = 2mG); increased stress hormone production (ACTH); proliferation of cellular micro-nuclei (pre-cancer stage), activation of at least three important DNA oncogenes and overproduction of stress proteins (HSP70), mechanisms involved in oxidative stress, genesis of cancers (whose frequency increases inevitably without improvement of the prognosis), even the worrying evolution of new diseases by genetic mutation (see scientific references attached).

II - There are effective protections, and others that are not

The lack of dissemination of information to the general public about REMPs and protections, as well as the lack of legislation in this area, expose the consumer to the abusive practices of traders who distribute ineffective protections or who have not done so. proof of their effectiveness. The result of this media deficiency and scientific uncertainty is a serious failure of the institutions to their duty of civil protection and maintenance of public health.

III - The rights of the consumer are flouted

The legitimate right to “clear, fair and appropriate” information is thus violated for the consumer. For their part, the insurance companies - obviously well informed - have added since January 1, 2003 an explicit exclusion clause in their civil liability cover policies concerning "any damage, or consequences of damage resulting from production by all devices. or equipment, electric or magnetic fields, or electromagnetic radiation… ”(The intensity of the magnetic fields of these devices is between 2 mG and 20 mG, that is to say well beyond the very high current safety standards).
It is true that the EU directive 25 July 1985 relating to the right to consumption, which has repeatedly relied on French justice since May 2002 to condemn manufacturers of vaccines and drugs, "states that a product is defective when it does not offer the security one can legitimately expect ". This is the case of computers, mobile phones, relay antennas and all devices producing REMP which all have at least one "hidden defect".
Paradoxically, the employer would be the only one to have to "carry out an analysis of occupational risks and working conditions for all stations with a display screen" and then "take all the necessary measures to remedy the risks identified. "(See legal reference attached1).
As Albert Schweitzer rightly remarked, "normal human behavior is based on anticipation, with the aim of foreseeing and avoiding the possible risks of his actions". Unfortunately, we must recognize with him that “present-day humanity has lost the capacity to foresee and anticipate! In its mad unconsciousness, it will end up destroying Life on Earth ”.
It is therefore up to the European community and our governments, duly informed, to control the safety of these consumer products in complete independence, to make them biocompatible with life on earth - which is enabled by technologies whose effectiveness has been scientifically demonstrated and clinically - and failing that, apply the precautionary principle. The State cannot indefinitely hide behind irresponsibility as was unfortunately the case in France in the scandal of contaminated blood or in that of growth hormone in particular.

IV - Purpose of the petition accompanying this open letter

From this day, no one among the recipients of this Open Letter, can claim that he was not "informed".
We therefore solemnly ask them to reflect in their soul and conscience on the incalculable consequences in the short, medium and long term that could result from inaction and lack of decision.
We demand that all means be implemented to minimize electromagnetic pollution and to establish standards to define the biocompatibility of sources of electromagnetic radiation.
Finally, we propose that a so-called "electromagnetic biocompatibility" law be drafted and passed on the basis of the following articles:

Article 1: All measures should be taken, whether scientific, technical or legal to protect the public health risks associated with electromagnetic radiation spuriation (REMP) electrical and electronic devices.
Article 2: A warning of health risks should be attached to each device and appear on all advertising. Health debates should be updated and made available to the user.
Article 3: A new health standard should be developed to protect against non-thermal bio-effects resulting from exposure to electric, magnetic and electromagnetic fields ranging from microwaves to extremely low frequencies.
Article 4: This electromagnetic biocompatibility standard should be based on the biological response of living organisms to short-, medium- and long-term exposure to the entire radiation spectrum of devices used by the public.
Article 5: Any technology declaring to provide protection against EMF should be approved in accordance with this electromagnetic biocompatibility standard.
