Transport pollution underestimated

The European Environment Agency (, in his latest report "Ten key transport and environment issues for policy makers", states that the use of inadequate test standards leads to an underestimation of air pollutant emissions from new vehicles. The test cycles do not reflect the real conditions of use which explains why the air pollution does not decrease as quickly as the technical data let it hope.
