Measure the regeneration of contaminated soils

Geologists from the University of Jena have obtained funding from the Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) to optimize the methods for measuring the decontamination of polluted soils.
Biological decontamination of low pollution soils with microorganisms and plants is a particularly economical process. However, it is important to measure its effectiveness. It is for this purpose that the 508.000 euros that the BMBF makes available to Jena researchers will be used.
