Generalities

All Diesel vehicles accept 30% vegetable oil mixed with conventional diesel, without engine modifications.
Indirect injection type vehicles fitted with a Bosh or Japanese injection pump (Diesel Kiki, Zexel, etc.) can go up to 50%, still without modifications.

Those equipped Lucas CAV Roto Diesel or Delphi, as well as direct injections should not exceed 30%.

To run with 100% vegetable oil, there are two types of adaptation:

- indirect injections fitted with Bosh or Japanese: supercharge the injectors to 185 bars, and in winter pre-wash pump and electric heater.
- direct injections: system of 2 tanks controlled by solenoid valves: this is the twin tank kit.
