A dishwasher pump must force the water to squirt through the small holes, which requires some power.

hello, I just saw there are models of dishwasher pump with two delivery outlets, but good for watering you have to find a model with only one delivery outlet, in my opinion this type of pump could make 'affair, we used a pump adaptable on drill it gives a sufficient pressure for watering, as long as it works why not

dishwasher pumps give a higher flow rate than conventional garden sprinkler pumps, but less pressure: they are good for example as a pump for swimming pool filters
conventional pumps for garden watering have a fairly high pressure 2 or 3 bar for stuffing in long and small diameter garden hoses: with large diameter hoses a dishwasher pump will give much more flow

I think the right question to ask first is: is there any need for pressure? (sprinkling) ... Otherwise, it seems obvious to me that it is better to adopt a low pressure / high flow system and water by submersion, drip (if the water is clean), with the line (do not laugh no, it's the technical term when you pull a small gutter that you fill with water - ancestral system in Mediterranean civilizations in particular), etc ...
If there is no need for pressure, it seems silly to pressurize for nothing (if not the essential gauge pressure by bringing the water from where it is at the highest point .. .).

good evening, I suppose that to get water out of the holes that are on the washing ramps, you still need a certain pressure, moreover the ramps rotate with the force of the water, a bit like a system of automatic sprinklers
here is another idea, use the sprayer bars of the dishwasher as an automatic watering system, only if it is possible

Re: Watering the garden with a washing machine pump?
I have a washing machine pump for my pond
either the water must arrive in the pump (lower than the water),
either you need to put a non-return valve (test with the pump 40cm above the water) but it heats up more

Hello, the ideal would be to make the pump submersible with acrylic resin as in the video of my penultimate message
or some other means of sealing the motor and the electrical parts in order to be able to put it in water
