Which does not prevent you from finding something easier than getting stuck in the buckets ...
I think nevertheless that the ram pump would have done the trick :D

manual pumps

by oli 80 » 18/11/09, 21:18

good evening, here's an interesting thing, no need to bother the buckets, but still have to work with the arms http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQ6urYtU ... re=channel

sorry it's chinese, short made in china which will eventually arrive with us it seems not bad as an idea

the pipe with the funnel is also good if the garden is lower than the water catchment point, as we say it was simple, but you had to think about it, at least for now you have assembled rigid pipes plastic with scotch tape but later a garden hose with the funnel would last longer

Not stupid, but I would have rather done that with a small piston pump. A peristaltic pump still requires a lot of maintenance if it has to run non-stop

river pump

Good evening, in fact I had the same idea for the piston or diaphragm pump, moreover the peristaltic pumps are generally used in the medical field or in laboratory, there is also the spiral pump, I opened a subject special for that

yes i found my happiness but not here ..... rather in my softened brain ....

I picked up all the bits of pipe that were lying around, I taped them to each other (yes yes with big brown tape) and I put a funnel on the end. then with my legs, I climbed upstream and I wedged my pipe between two large stones.

suddenly in my garden I have a hose that is constantly flowing. when I don't need water I put the hose back in the river and when I want I use it to water!

a system that has the merit of being completely free! : Cheesy:

couack couack!

Good evening, here is what I found that can replace the funnel

this tarp is used to evacuate the water which leaks from the ceiling towards the outside of a building using a garden hose, an alternative to the bucket, but it can also be used to collect the water of a stream and wedging it with large stones, the firefighters use a large flexible cone in this principle, to collect water by gravity towards their tanks or tank trucks

this solution is really useful when the stream is shallow for pumping water
