To do so, personally I would get pumping at a very small continuous flow on solar panels ... Given the 12 meters of elevation gain I would put two small submerged caravan-type pumps, one in relay of the other at 6 meters above from the first ... Continuous pumping every day from sunrise to sunset ... It takes about 50W under 12V panel ... with two pumps like this one
But good with 8 liters minutes a 10W panel that charges a battery all day and pumping 200 liters in the evening ...

green pump
hello, wow a solar pump while the current of this stream is powerful enough to operate either a ram or a "pulser pump"
for marieagnes I specify that the pulser pump does not necessarily need to be buried we can also leave this device in the open air as shown in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tf1-7fL_UIk
this Englishman succeeded in reproducing this "pulser pump" as on the site that I put above in this subject

Hello Marieagnes
By the way, what company do you and your husband work for?
Would you be happy to see such a statement about your business?
I am retired and have always worked in SMEs.
Remember that in any company there are employees who row for food.
but hey ... as long as we can water without feeding EDF or TOTAL ...

Reducer, jlt22, reducer!
No one here is challenging anyone's right to get a fair income from worthwhile activity, well, I think.
The issue is different ...... Marie Agnès is looking for an original solution and has initiated a debate full of interest at the technical level.
