We don't have to follow, do we?

We can follow without reacting, right?

I will follow and react!

1) Polyethylene: because it is one of the inexpensive "plastics" having resistance and easy to recycle. No ?

2) Anti-UV: I think the tanks can hang around in the sun at suppliers for a while ...

Would be better if the plastic does not start to weaken. Do not forget that a rainwater tank must withstand the pressure of the ground even when empty (where an all-water tank is always full - except emptying every two years - in principle).

More likely, they come out of the same chains as the oil tanks, which are in the light. It wouldn't be a stupid reason, right?

Yes good remark but in this case how much does an oil tank of equivalent capacity in PE cost?

I said that they may be using the same raw materials as they used for oil tanks. As a result, they are de facto anti-UV.

I would advise against the oil tank, lest it crash when it is empty and the soil is very wet ...

The difference is the corrugated cardboard-style "straps" to stiffen the water tanks ...

Isn't a pump in the river better? It seems to me that you have that at home?

C Christopher :P

But having a rainwater tank also means being sheltered in the event of severe drought, remains to be seen if the stream at the bottom of Christophe's garden is sometimes dry?

Or maybe he is not allowed to pump water into the stream!
