Our research would rather direct us towards the EPDM, a flexible which supports very well the dissolved ozone (possibly with stainless steel braid).
What do you think ?

Like this one (food):

or (with phthalates, but a better radius of curvature):

Re: Pressure supported by the PER
Hello,
I must inform you of the result of this study.
We decided to opt for Rigid PVC-U, with Girpi RERFIX glue, firstly because the resistance of PVC-U would be sufficient.
The main reason for giving up the hose (in this case the EDPM) is that the EPDM can not be sealed in a concrete wall for the simple reason that the pipe could undergo some compression and that the friction with the concrete could lead to deterioration of the pipe.
In fact, any flexible pipe can retract into its concrete housing, so that micro-cracks can quickly form, for 2 reasons. The first is chemical and the second is related to its elastomeric properties: it relaxes and retracts easily. This elastic flexibility would contribute to the formation of cracks.
As for the food EPDM, it is clearly less resistant to gases, aqueous solutions, acids, bases, oxidants, descaling agents, detergents, etc. than the EPDM unapproved drinking water.
Another reason is the price of the EPDM solution with crimping (316L stainless tips): 1800 € for 7 pipes (30 total m).
In conclusion, the EPDM solution is not economically suitable, because it is to adopt the high price for features that do not meet our specifications.
I thank you for your contributions.
Thank you for letting us know your opinion regarding this conclusion.
Kind regards.
