Hi everyone I will definitely be leaving my little apartment in town for a house soon.
I would like to install rainwater collectors to operate my toilets, shower, sink, sink, washing machine.
My first question is: How much water do I need to collect to make this work for a young couple without children.
Second question for water filtration: Can a swimming pool filtration system do the trick? and how many µs should I go to?
Third question: Connection and pumping of water?
I think of putting a T on the arrival of running water with taps to choose which water I use, but to have enough pressure in the taps when they are supplied with rain water, how to do?
I suspect that this kind of question must have been asked 1001 times, but in the mass of subject of forum I am a little pers.

For me drip irrigation of garden in summer two dry months, I need 50M3 per summer and even more !!
Result you have to store a pool of 40m3 at least: cost 5000 to 10000 € or even more, amortized at the price of water at 3 € per m3 from city water to save 50x3 = 150 € per year after € 10000 / 150 = 66 years !!
Result: for months tap water is cheaper than rain water !!!!
For you, if you only consume 100litres per day or 3 m3 per month and 6m3 per dry summer over 2 months (in the Var seaside it takes 4 months), you must have a reserve of at least 3 to 6 m3 or typically 1000 to 2000 € unless you take a cheap inflatable pool that will not last long, you amortize consumption over a year of 36m3 or 108 € in 18 years !!!
Limit, unless you consume more in winter or you are in Brittany very humid with never more than two weeks without good rain and not in the PACA region.
But if you are green you do not look at the price?
I forget the purity of rainwater sometimes with pesticides from neighboring farmers !!
Finally in the Paris region a house of 100m2 on the ground gives a maximum of 60m3 of water per year on its roof that you cannot exceed !!!
