The situation :
I just bought a house in Alsace, in the Vosges mountains. In my garden on a hill, a trickle of water flows which is collected in a concrete tank with a capacity of about 300 liters.
Alas I do not know if this water is the catchment of a source or the drainage of the mountain.
My project :
From this concrete tank, install a pipe to my cellar (3 meters below) to store this water in a tank of about 1000 liters, then a pump to supply the toilets, the washing machine and the outdoor watering.
My problems :
1) I would like to filter this water before my tank. The water is generally very clear except in recent days, with the heavy rain it was cloudy white, and I do not know if there is sometimes sand. So I prefer to prevent than cure before my tank is too dirty. So I would like to know how to make a filter at a lower cost. I thought I would use blue aquarium foam filters.
2) Since this "source" delivers about 300 l / h, should I pass all this water through my tank with an overflow to avoid stagnant water or should I provide an overflow system at the source , for example at the level of the filter that I want to install.
3) What as a pump? A simple pump or a suppressor? For now I am on an Al-Ko HWF 1300 INOX Suppressor at 177 €

That should do ??
Thank you in advance for your answers.

Hello,
Why spend money on electricity to run a pump?

Hello,
Why spend money on electricity to run a pump?
http://pagesperso-orange.fr/energies-no ... h12-71.htm
Because my cellar is three meters below my source, so only 0,3 bars of pressure at the lowest level of my tank. And impossible to feed anything above the source !!!

Can you assure me that I would have a sufficient flow and pressure at N + 2, that is to say 6 meters above my source to use a gun to water qq something, frankly I doubt it !!!! And anyway there is not my question!
Pump or suppressor?

on my side I have a simple surface pump, the pressure tank is compulsory?
SURPRESSOR ....
It seems to me that the terms are different France-Belgium
In Belgium it is called "hydrophore group"
And there I have some experience:
I bought a band like the one you are talking about 17 years ago ...
It is sold everywhere with all brands, and especially in supermarkets.
This group has a system like the central heating expansion vessels (there is a rubber pocket) which regularly leaks.
If the tank which encloses this rubber "pocket" rusts a little, this leads to an even faster destruction of the rubber pocket or membrane.
In addition, this pocket must be inflated to a very precise pressure ...
In general, this pressure changes, deregulates, in short it is the edge ...
So, I said to myself; ok, I'm going to buy a group without this rubber pocket, with electronic pressure regulation.
I bought this group in a super market ...
A problem appeared: one day my tank fell dry, and the pump ran empty ...
As the inside of the pump was plastic ... everything melted inside the pump ....
Now I have a quality pump; but it has a price
5 years ago, I paid 400 euros, but I'm quiet for 25 years assured the seller, and I want to believe it.
* No rubber pocket
* Electronic regulation (it starts only if there is water consumption)
* It stops automatically if the tank is empty, or if the filter is blocked) it is very important
* Robust and reliable construction
* No air pressure to adjust in a membrane
The brand: Neptune
Discharge pressure: 6 bars
Power d: 800watt
Type: maxlent35E
Really, I advise you to put the price, to have a good pump.
