In addition and to better understand what a distribution of water of general interest would look like.

On the high valleys of Gier and Dorlay, on 4 levels spaced 200 m above sea level (1200,1000,800), we can see in red the canals (diversion bays) allowing to offer an alternative flow to fight against flooding while restoring underground water reserves or restoring flow in summer to rivers ..... etc

This network of diversion bays could be supplemented by small hill basins to collect water from large storms in order to restore it downstream in the basement over longer times.
