Recovery tank .. cheaper in Germany

by Chupacabra » 26/02/09, 10:23

Hello !
I've been going through this for a while forum very very interesting!
We are planning to build our house for this spring, with the firm intention of installing a rainwater recovery tank ...

However, some observations bother us: the price differences between the tanks (septic tanks, dedicated tanks for collecting rainwater ...). : Shock:

The nearby border stores send us their advertising brochures. In this week's, a special offer:
- rainwater recovery tank: 4.000 l
- child safety
- access dome
- material and accessory to install yourself
Price: € 599 - delivered.

What do you think ? in view of many posts here, it is much cheaper .. should we rush and buy one?

Thank you in advance for your advice !!

1) It's a nice promotion (40%) but the "high" price is expensive ...

2) Gold promo, the price is expensive but much less than in France: German oil is surely cheaper ... Mwarf !! In promo we are at the price per m3 of a septic tank without promo ... (150 € per m3 stored)

3) I think this: ecology? The customer is taken for a con?

If I wanted to install a large tank I would put a septic tank ...

ps: reduce your avatar please ...

oops for the avatar ....

the starting price, I think it's about attracting the customer.
indeed I had peeled the post that you propose .. it is after that I found this tempting offer (the ad that we can see including your post, therefore French ad, still offers € 1.150 for "only "2.650 l.)

but opinions on a septic tank remain mixed ...

so .. we drop? :|

Hello,
I wonder what the flexible tanks cost:
http://www.abeko.fr/
Otherwise, there are the 1000 liter tanks in the shape of a cube, which cost + - 50 euros each.
And there is still this solution:

Yes cubi is what I'm going to put but 50 € each is used, new is rather in the 100 € right?

We have a subject on it: collects rainwater in a 1000L cubi

After just do a wooden cladding (or other) and hop a super cheap and pretty rainwater recovery!

ps: please avoid ebay links because in a few days they will be out of date ...

Ebay link: I noted, there is still this solution; it means that it is worth going to see on this kind of site ...
And I gave an example ... which will obviously disappear .. :D

In this case make a copy / paste of the photo and the text and put everything on the forums. So at least it's "sustainable"! :D

Simpler: you take a screenshot and put it on the forum.

Example with your example:

I also found on ebay a seller (reserveo) who had attractive prices on flexible tanks. (we should re-check if these prices are still as attractive)
