Yesterday Sunday, maximum temperatures often exceeded 38 degrees in Aquitaine.

In particular: 40,4 ° C in Cabanac (Gironde), 39,2 ° C in Bordeaux
(record for a month in June) and 38,6 ° C in Biarritz.

Today, the area affected by the hottest heat
will concern more particularly Aquitaine, Poitou, the south
Pays de Loire and the Center where maximum temperatures
will reach or exceed 38 degrees.

It will also be very hot from the Paris basin to Lyonnais
with values ​​between 34 and 38 degrees.
However a rain-storm degradation is expected from this
overnight in the west of the country and will shift to the east tomorrow Tuesday,
