HEAT PIC

Posted on Monday June 27, 2011 at 10 hours 55 minutes

The rise in temperatures that began on Saturday June 25 in the South extends today and tomorrow Tuesday to the whole country.

Yesterday Sunday, maximum temperatures often exceeded 38 degrees in Aquitaine.

In particular: 40,4 ° C in Cabanac (Gironde), 39,2 ° C in Bordeaux
(record for a month in June) and 38,6 ° C in Biarritz.

Today, the area affected by the hottest heat
will concern more particularly Aquitaine, Poitou, the south
Pays de Loire and the Center where maximum temperatures
will reach or exceed 38 degrees.

It will also be very hot from the Paris basin to Lyonnais
with values between 34 and 38 degrees.
However a rain-storm degradation is expected from this
overnight in the west of the country and will shift to the east tomorrow Tuesday,
generating a marked refreshment which will become widespread on Wednesday.

Up a heat wave in progress!

For those who are not equipped with air conditioning at home, that is to say the vast majority, some ideas to reduce the temperature a little easily and make the heat wave more bearable:

a) close curtain, shutter, window (recess)

b) use misting to cool at a lower cost: a wet cloth on a fan, spray water on your draperies ... wet your clothes on you go out (girls especially!)

c) dress bright (better than light / sunburn)

d) drink (before you are thirsty and not too much beer lol)
