Industrial and political corruption heavily condemned in Korea ... and rewarded here?

by Christophe » 18/01/21, 09:49

No straight pass, political or cash immunity, no cronyism with Justice ... In South Korea (the North is not talking about it) ... we condemn the powerful like the others and it is very well !!

22 years in prison for the former President ... it is not tomorrow the day before that we will see this in France !! Here it is rather 22 months suspended ...: Shock: 8)

https://www.courrierinternational.com/a ... -la-prison

Lee Jae-yong, de facto boss of the powerful Samsung group, has just been convicted of embezzlement committed for the benefit of the former president of the country Park Geun-hye, herself recently sentenced to 22 years in prison.

On January 18, 2021, the Seoul High Court sentenced Lee Jae-yong, vice president of Samsung Electronics, to two years and six months in prison for corruption and embezzlement. He is accused of paying bribes, with company money, to former South Korean President Park Geun-hye and her friend Choi Soon-sil.

The latter two are already in prison, sentenced for the first to 22 years of imprisonment and for the second to 17 years.

This we know how to do in France is called the (stabbing in the back) of a whore ... methods applicable in politics and in the business world ...

We can cite for example the DSK case ...

However it never ends with 22 years in prison ... Ghosn the same he was not really sentenced ... but indeed he took a stab in the back ...

With us it's not so much the 22-month suspended sentence that bothers me

But the 10 years of investigations, of lawsuits, which cost us millions of euros, unnecessarily mobilize the courts, and never lead to anything ..... Except to possible pharaonic compensation of the accused. ...

That's it Macro ... of big nonsense! You just have to do a little politics to find yourself untouchable for life ... : Shock:

To come back to corruption, apparently in France, it is ... more than desired in some areas of "competence" ... (not verified the figures ...)

Otherwise Gilead and its 900 Millions stolen from the people via the Remdesivir scandal ... are we talking about it?

Are there any complaints? Ongoing investigations?

Or do we prefer to continue to hit Raoult who never stole anything from anyone? It is true that we are in a system which rewards profit above all other considerations ...

Ah sorry, but according to Professor Izy who is based on a documentary to charge, he would have embezzled crazy sums:
a lot of money embezzled to pay lawyers and make political friendships

Where is the connection with Carlos Ghosn?

Carlos Ghosn got into trouble in Japan, not Korea.

Korea and Japan are two very different countries.
