tronxys x5sa pro 500 review: filament stuck in the extruder

Hello

I bought the tronxy x5sa 500 pro and the upgrade kit. I've read lots of good comments on it. Well after 2kg of melted filament I couldn't print anything. Why ? Because the extruders don't work properly. After a return trip of filament or even just a stop the filament is damaged and no longer goes up, the extruder blocks the filament. And I'm talking in one color, I can't even imagine two-tone.

No matter the settings through the software or the setting of the extruder wheel the result and the same.

Anyone got a solution?

Thank you

You're lucky, I have one...without the upgrade kit (what is it?)...

Start by reading what I think here: 3d-printers / tronxy-x5sa-500-pro-improvement-z-axis-how-to-paste-a-toothed-belt-t16537.html

The big problem is the assembly: it is absolutely necessary that the chassis is well mounted square otherwise no shape will be good... There is even an error in the instructions: if you follow the steps it is impossible to assemble. ..finally I mounted mine more than 18 months ago...

Post some pics of yours and your worries here?

I also had some filament "machining" in the extruder if that's what you're thinking...

Otherwise you can also read this topic on tests on different filaments: 3d-printers / test-best-filaments-3d-printers-2020-pla-pla-tpu-petg-carbon-t16592.html

Some filaments stuck more in the extruder than others...

The printing speed plays on the blocking of the filaments, try to reduce it to around 50-60 mm/s... and increase the nozzle temperature a little...
