rechargeable battery voltage

by elephant » 30/11/15, 14:44

With an operating voltage of 1,2 V, Ni-Cd batteries are not suitable for replacing Zinc Charcoal or Alkaline batteries, as this voltage is often insufficient for proper operation of the device.

Lithium is not right either, the elements are at 3 volts. (unless you put one or more "dummy batteries" in the compartment.

Does anyone know if there are elements whose operating voltage is between 1,45 and 1,6 volts?

in seeking I found this:

http://pics.idemdito.org/fr/tech/kentli.htm because Ni-Zn batteries would no longer be available in AA or AAA

however, I'm going to get a little 3V batteries and a fake battery, but it will not work for everything: my Petzl headlamp requires 3 X 1,5 V AAA.
