WE ARE NOT AT WAR
and don't have to be…
By Sophie Mainguy, emergency doctor.

It is interesting to see how we can only envisage each event through a prism of defense and domination.
The measures decreed last night by our government are, from my sensibility as a doctor, entirely appropriate. However, the announcement effect that accompanied it is much less.
We are not at war and need not be at war.
There is no need for a systematic idea of struggle to be effective.
The firm ambition of a service to life is enough.
There is no enemy.
There is another organism living in full migratory flow and we must stop so that our respective currents do not collide too much.
We are at the pedestrian crossing and the light is red for us.
Of course there will be, on the scale of our billions of humans, crossings outside the nails and accidents that will be painful.
They still are.
You have to prepare for it.
But there is no war.
Life forms that don't serve our interests (and who can say it?) Are not our enemies.
It is yet another opportunity to realize that humans are not the only force on this planet and that they sometimes have to make room for others.
There is no point in living it in a confrontational or competitive mode.
Our bodies and our immunity love truth and PEACE.
We are not at war and we do not have to be to be effective.
We are not mobilized by arms but by the Intelligence of the living which forces us to pause.
Exceptionally we are forced to push ourselves aside, to leave room.
It is not a war, it is an education, that of humility, interrelation and solidarity.

And I'm not the one who calls the government crazy ... and incompetent ... : Cheesy:

NON-ASSISTANCE TO DANGERED COUNTRIES
The coronavirus drives (also) crazy. And the most seriously affected are those who govern us

Irresponsible or incompetent? Both of them.

I largely share this opinion.
Let's say that in France we have the culture of the providential Man who will settle everything even what does not come under his competence. The corollary is the culture of the scapegoat ...

“Life forms that do not serve our interests (and who can tell?) Are not our enemies.
This is yet another opportunity to realize that humans are not the only force on this planet and that they must - oh how many - sometimes make room for others. "

"We are not mobilized by arms but by the Intelligence of the living which forces us to take a break.
Exceptionally, we are obliged to push ourselves aside, to make room. "

Sorry ... I think it's clear ...

Do not omit the infamous role of the monotheistic religions which have elevated man above the animal kingdom, wrongly, and who have decreed that God (call it whatever you like) had created us in his image. Therefore, how can we be surprised that we allowed EVERYTHING towards nature and its creatures ...

The ideology aims to create a positive synergy between our action on the world and what justifies it ... Religion has disappeared (at least here), but has been replaced, quite logically, by that of "progress".
In the words Marx: "The infrastructure determines the superstructure."
