Hello friends I need help with the Norauto NX 4010 charger. It lights up normally but I have no voltage or current coming out to charge the battery. It only works as a tester as soon as I connect the battery it provides information. But it can't provide energy to charge

Thanks already for your help

At 13.9 V, the battery is charged, normal for the charger to deliver nothing.
A discharged battery has less than 12 V at its terminals.

But no, the battery is dead, that's what I can't understand. The charger did not deliver anything because I tested it. It looks like the charger only provides information about the voltage or the capacity of the battery. And besides, he gave 0.000 amperes for the intensity.

The battery has been discharged for too long and is therefore sulphated https://www.regenebatt.com/batterie-wor ... ation.html

The charger does not send anything as charge also to the battery. Or this is how this charger works.

It doesn't send anything because lead sulfate is insulating. Must read the link : Wink:
If we drag to recharge the battery, the lead sulphate turns into lead sulphate crystals, more difficult to dissolve. It is an insulator which prevents communication between the lead plate and the electrolyte (acid), which has the consequence of preventing the charge from being accepted.

Thanks I just read link. And I have not yet found the way to solve the phenomenon of crystallization of sulphate with lead and it is a dry battery.

But for the charger it should give a sign of tension if during a fragment of a second we attach the positive and the negative. No voltage in the charger

Short circuits are to be avoided, you risk to burn it out.
Do not take the link regeneration advice, it would be money wasted, it does not work.
All you have to do is buy a new battery.

Thank you !!! I would not do that again. The charger always lights up. Why not testing the charger without the battery I have nothing like charge? And while it lights up
