Riviéra coffee maker and Prestige Bar 9444 series

by andrej » 09/04/17, 15:08

Hello everybody
I would like to revise a Riviéra and Bar coffee maker, prestige, series 9444, codic 829919. But I am not the technical documentation to carry out without making odd.
The pump is running but the water does not come out.
Who can inform me or provide me with the corresponding doc. I have little means and I have to fend for myself.
Thank you all, in advance.
Kind regards.

Hello
Unknown this reference?
On the rating plate it is noted What?

Have YOU checked that the pod holder is not blocked? S, it is an espresso.

Riviera and Bar rulez! :)

I have a seal to change, but already I can not unscrew the screw that holds the assembly with the seal.
Everything seems oxidized.

For your problem, you can try to put white vinegar instead of water, even if now it's probably a little late.

Often blocked with thread lock. The solution remains to blow up the screw head with the drill.

yes i'm thinking about it, but i don't have a spare joint, the screw i'm not sure i have one that is going well and it flows pretty little around, so i will wait.

Little trick, when it flows next to the riviera, it is the holes in the percolator that are blocked.
If you no longer have the tool delivered to unclog, a fairly fine needle does not work too badly.
Just a needle is round, the tool provided is square.

At home it gets blocked when using too fine ground grain.
In this case, you put a layer of normal coffee and then the problematic coffee.

A stainless steel screw at this point. Soft metal.
Sixk that it references your machine?

This is it, CE320a:
http://www.prixing.fr/images/product_im ... 45c1ab.jpg

A very robust machine that makes excellent espresso with a creamy foam. (19 bar pressure).
It has been used every day for over 5 years (maybe 10).

Arf! :) I found a site that sells the strainer screw in addition to the joint ... :) 2,5 euro all the same the screw!

I have almost no more excuses! ;)

Hello izentrop,
Thank you for your reply.
No more nameplate. At the time, paper label with Magnum automatic Serial number 9444 and Codic 829919, which I had noted in case or ..
Grinder + espresso + magnum. Prestige series.
Hot water does not come out, nor steam (however it heats hard), although the pump is running.
I try with white vinegar.
Kind regards.

The magnum therefore.
If it's clogged, the vinegar won't do anything. And beware, aluminum boiler, no vinegar.
Before heating, you should unscrew the central screw of the perforator head, in the middle of the grid. Behind it is a spring and a ball. They must be clogged with lime.
Once extracted, the water in the tank should flow.
With a small screwdriver, you can remove the bottom of the tank.
Use a commercial descaler if it is scaled.
Do a test to test the pump before reassembling after cleaning the ball.
It can be plugged elsewhere or HS pump.

ps no steam either, it's rather blocked between pump and boiler or used pump

Thank you izentrop,
With this information, I will try to get away: good hope for that.
This diagram will allow me, perhaps, to get by. I will keep you informed of the progress of the "works".
Thanks again.
