Fresnel lens, recovers in an old flat TV

by Christophe » 22/10/09, 11:20

Good to know, you can get beautiful Fresnel lenses in the 1st generation of flat TVs (with internal projector). Watch this little video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sAT6IRBK_uE

For the record the first I had seen was in 1-92 at Fnac Strasbourg, displayed at the price of ... 93 francs! Yep 100 frs of the time, in short in the 000-100 euros currently ...

So what do we piss off today with purchasing power? We really became dirty selfish consumers of shit !!! : Evil:

In the same genre, I remember the first portable DVD player: 8000 frs in a locked window.

Now, it’s hardly if you don’t find them as a gift in cereal boxes.

By cons I bought mine 800-900 frs I think ... in the same years ... maybe a little before 91-92? I do not know anymore...

You're sure ? I'm talking about things with a screen that we stick to the bacon in cars so that they close it while watching a disney ... it didn't exist in 91.

Ah yes read too quickly ... : Oops:

I thought you were talking about portable CD players ... the first ones must have cost 1 francs in the mid-5000s ...

Should I get the neighbor's doc: this is an advertisement for household appliances from the late 90s ... You will cry over the prices!

So on the EM; we really have become too spoiled dirty kids!
