Hello,

Very nice frame ...

I will have a few questions:
* There is a small part of the building which is on crawl space, why?
* We can see the straw bales arriving "at the top" of the load-bearing rafters, how is the frame, decking and counter decking ventilated?
* These same boots are coated with earth, is it for air tightness? Wouldn't it be better to have a rain cover?

In fact there is a crawl space simply to be able to if necessary on the one hand change the direction of the water inlet and waste water evacuation pipes and also to be able to ensure maintenance in case or something else.

We see the straw bales arrive "at the top" of the load-bearing rafters, how is the frame, decking and counter litelage ventilated?

Above the rafters which separate the straw bales from the roof is fixed a counter-rafter in the same direction as the initial rafters in order to install a rain screen.

Above this rain shield come the battens and counter-battens to lay the tiles

These same boots are coated with earth, is it for air tightness? Wouldn't it be better to have a rain cover?

The boots are coated with earth for 3 reasons:

- the first to ensure a thermal phase difference between the outside and the inside.
- the second to protect the boots from a possible fire the earth acting as a retarder
- the third to protect it from rodents and insects

For the rain shield I answered previously !!
