Fourmillière in a flower pot! Ant ants natural?

I have anthills that have formed in (at least) 2 of my flower pots (a citrus and an olive tree), it looks like this, yuck, they go up the earth along the trunk!







The citrus in question has mealybugs, I need to treat, it may be this that interests ants? The olive tree has nothing.

In short: my question is this: is there a natural method for hunting ants without having to repot completely? Obviously it has to be safe for the trees.
The citrus pot is completely full of galleries ...

For the moment I have flooded ... it works for a few days ...

Yes, it makes fertilizer too (so a thin layer, not 5cm thick)

Ants love the fine and tender soil of plants to plant !!
Also when planting you have to put tough soil in the ground for half with the soil to make it hard and unattractive like the surrounding land.

The mint is cut, layered or divided with great ease, with one foot you can make 10 feet of mint, or even more !!
A branch tip with a little bit of roots always takes on a little moisture;
Same for rosemaries.
But it is necessary to wait for the development of the foot to dissuade the ants while the compost hardened with hard earth is faster effective.
Ants are stubborn when they want to be in a place !!

I have mint on the stem, I will cut a small one in the pot as a preventive measure.

Yesterday I treated the mealybugs with biogarden and repeatedly flooded the pot. I moved it too. This morning, for the moment, it's calm. No more ants on the horizon (they didn't like the biogarden treatment).

I'm going to make a coffee! Reload with compost and give a little fertilizer to this poor citrus which has its roots in the air ...

Ants love mealybug honeydew. To contain them, I brush my trunks (a 2cm wide "ring") with pine tar. They hate.
