Scientists, deniers risk convicts

Humanitarian catastrophes (including resource wars and conflicts), natural, climate and industrial (except nuclear or oil forum fossil and nuclear energy). Pollution of the sea and oceans.

Scientists, deniers risk convicts

by dedeleco » 23/10/12, 13:59

In Italy, 6 days before the earthquake, scientists faced with the fairly usual resurgence of small earthquakes, had declared that it was without risks, and therefore, logically, they were sentenced in court !!! (info and TV, wikistrike)

Thus, Claude Allègre, should be doubly condemned:

1) for perfectly useless evacuation de la Soufrière, menacing, despite the opposite opinion of Haroun Tazzief in 1976:
http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haroun_Tazieff

2) for not having announced the future danger of a big earthquake and tsunami in France, especially south and south east, and atlantic, of a future earthquake 7 to 8 inevitable sooner or later in 500 years, which can happen just as well tomorrow, as in 500 years, instead of reassuring and reassuring words, that France has had very few earthquakes for hundreds of years, proof of the reality of a blocked situation, very dangerous, precursor of very large earthquake of force 8 and more !!
He should be condemned in advance, for not building everywhere anti-seismic, so as not to announce the real and very underestimated risks of earthquakes, tsunamis, mega-solar flares, (as in 1859) capable of creating nuclear disasters in a chain, as in Fukushima, uncontrollable, causing an entire region to evacuate, and even France, never to return there !!

Scientists who deny reality, before everyone is convinced years later, by death at the Academy of Sciences, must be condemned !!

Scientists who deny Séralini must be condemned, for refusing to accept, the reality, that if most of the 10 rats die, well before the 10 of the control, that is enough to prove and that there is no need for 50 or 1000 rats !!

Etc. ..

We worry much more about the condemned scientists than the 306 dead !!

But scientists are paid to often underestimate the risks, chemical, Roundup, GMO, earthquakes under nuclear power plants or houses, tsunami, and minimize the price of the necessary protection.

With an earthquake or tsunami, or solar flare, in 500 years or tomorrow, with equal probability, must we protect ourselves like the Japanese ????

Emigrates to the moon, it is tectonically inactive.

Yes, but we are super-irradiated with the slightest solar flare !!

There is a big difference between underestimating a statistical risk (on which you are perfectly right to insist) and being unable to predict un special event.

The first is a fault (possibly condemnable) for a scientist, the second is a limit of current knowledge.

And in this case, the report of the scientists recommended to improve the constructions (and did not deny at all the existence of the seismic risk), but not to do it in the following week :!:

.....

poor Dedeleco.

What will happen with this case law is that no scientist will want to get wet. And why would he take such a risk?
Or else they will do as in the soufriére, they will ask for systematic evacuation.

: idea: In fact, this is what dedeleco wants: that we evacuate all risk areas preventively and definitively : Idea:

So that he can live there quietly :?: : Mrgreen:

Let us not forget to also condemn all the doctors who did not make, or not on time, the correct diagnosis ... well there it was humor (gray) but I knew for example, a real crook dentist , which deliberately destroys the teeth of its patients ... and which takes 2 to 3 times more sessions for the same care as the "competition" ...

Before condemning the scientists, let's start by condemning the incompetence (mmm we can also call this folding before a lobby) of certain politicians ...
