Here is the site of a guy who built his own vmc DF from start to finish, interesting.

very interesting case apart from a few points to review.

the installation in a heated and isolated room, and the modification of its cross exchanger towards a cross current exchanger would allow it a certain gain.

but the case is really didactic.

I do mine with standard and hygro vmc.

Besides, I wonder if the fact of using grooved plates could not reduce the pressure losses in the exchanger.
There is corrugated pvc that can be recovered, which would make an excellent material for an exchanger.

it would be good material, but not stackable in both directions.

I use sheets of honeycombed polypropylene, 3mm thick.

What is the principle of the counter current?

Hello,
I got a condenser dryer exchanger. Can it do this for a double flow, if we lower the speed of the fan?
A+
