Okofen heating problem

Hello everybody,

I just read several threads on the forum regarding the heating problems but I have a little trouble understanding mine : roll:

My problem is that the boiler tells me a set flow temperature of 37,6 degrees and a measured temperature of 16,5 degrees (example).

It is therefore cold for a long time and then the house heats up once the flow temperature is the same between the set point and that measured.

This situation can happen several times a day…
I can't understand why, my heating engineer told me to look at the pressure (it's at 1,5 bar), to bleed my radiators (which I therefore redid) but the problem persists.

If you have any thoughts I would be very grateful. : Oops:

HS circulator?

First test, put your hand on the circulator, to see if you feel at least a little vibration, if the boiler is running.

The installation dates back a year (I didn't specify) it seems big, doesn't it?

But if he was out of order, why does it sometimes work?

If it sucks, it sucks, a year or ten years.
You ask for food for thought, and you dismiss the very first....
If your installation is one year old, it is under warranty, it is better to contact your installer than to ask for ideas to eliminate them directly.

I'm not ruling out anything at all, excuse me for trying to understand why it's already HS and if so why it works and sometimes not...

Regarding the circulator, is it the room circled in blue (I'm not sure), if so it vibrates.

Hello,

What exact boiler model?

Is she connected?

The part circled in red is the V3V (three-way valve) which mixes the return and the outlet to send the water to the heating circuit at the correct temperature.
The circulator is located just above, it is in operation (round green dot lit)

Hello Pilpoil,

It's a Pellematic Condens and yes it's connected.

Thanks for the info on the organs.

On the other hand, as phil59 asked me, I don't have the impression that the circulator vibrated (despite the green operating light on) compared to the V3V.

It's a Pellematic Condens and yes it's connected.



If it is possible to have access to it, I would like to study the data and parameters of your installation

Could this be a seized 3-way valve problem?

Even a new one after X months of regulation shutdown can happen...

Increase the speed of the circulator to the max to do the tests, you will have more reactivity... there it is at 50% on the photo.

What's the green light on the right valve setting?

Green: in operation

The recommendation for this circulator in a radiator network is 1 to 3 maximum according to the Okofen brochure and since it is a condensing boiler, the return must be as low as possible.
By setting more than 3, the return will potentially be much hotter and above all risks generating very unpleasant traffic noise depending on the room.
