Hello everybody
We installed a ROTEX GSU gas boiler 11 years ago coupled with solar panels (rotex solaris R3) - Until now we were very satisfied with this model but for 6 months the pressure on the boiler has dropped to zero despite the amount of water that we put back each time. Now we wonder where the water goes since we have not spotted any leaks, no puddles. Where does all this water go? The installer of this machine tells us that it is the heating body which must be drilled! cost 2000 € minimum to change it! For the price, he even advises us to change the boiler! He adds that this machine has defects after 10 years and that several parts fail one after the other ...
Did people have the same concern?
What do you think ?

Expansion vessel to re-inflate or change.
11 years old, very possible he is full of water, lack of pressure ...
A simple bicycle pump may suffice ....

Re: ROTEX GSU solaris R3 model boiler
Hello,
Did you solve your problem on your boiler?
I just bought a house with the exact same boiler.
I had an error code in E26. It would be a burner problem ...
We called in a heating engineer who told us that it was about a probe badly placed in relation to the sun.
Weird, the system has been in operation for 10 years.
We also do maintenance at the same time and all for the price of 320e.
Two minutes later another error code arrives on E05
And there he looks and tells me that there is a part that is worn that it must be changed ...
ok we change the part labor displacement and all that for the price of 550e ...
And the same be reappearance of the same problem
Code e05 again
Are they kidding me ??
It's the weekend he tells me to do resets so that it works so I pay for repairs and all that so that I find myself without heating or hot water because it is safe
Have you ever had this problem?
Thanking you in advance

Hello Claude
I come back to the forum two years late
In any case, we solved the problem but others arrived later…
And this is still the case today, hence my presence again on the forums looking for customer reviews...
Always in winter we have problems with this M * of Rotex it is unbearable and unlivable.
