Grundfos alpha 2L

by Gobitcho » 02/11/19, 10:19

Hello I have a problem with my Grundfos alpha 2L Circulator:

It circulates the water from my boiler to my heaters normally but the programming of this circulator no longer wants to change when I press the program button ">"
In the photo I put a cross on the current program is a program for a floor heating system. I would like to put the program on the position I have surrounded, it corresponds to a two-pipe heating which is my case.
But the program does not change.
I wonder if there is a manipulation that I do not know to perform or is my circulator defective?
I tried everything: dismantling the circulator, unplugging the current .. I do not know what to do
Thank you for helping me if it's possible

The ">" button may be out of order or so corroded under the plastic cover that contact is no longer made.

And you have no display either, obviously.

Why?

Indeed we do not see the brightness of the program because the circulator net not function. But it works .. But what about the program II

Apart from changing the circulator an idea?

Disassemble, clean and reassemble with grease.

Uh, is it the same circulator as this one (which you wrote a few months ago): heating-isolation / problem-grundfos-alpha-2-t15966.html ?

I looked at the prices of grunfos circulators a few months ago: the classic models were still more expensive than the models "stuffed" with electronics like the alpha2 ... which is, a priori, not very logical: we pay cheaper for a more efficient model?

Can be done a hardware reset? If it's possible?

Here is his record, but I think you had already found?

notice_grundfos_circulateur_alpha2_auto_adpat.pdf
(2.71 million) Downloaded times 680

Having flown over it I do not know that there are real differences from one setting to another ... I personally would leave it on AutoAdapt and basta! : Cheesy:

The mono tube ca still exists ???

Thanks to the AUTOADAPT function (factory setting), the circulator can be started in most cases without any adjustment.
